Setting the Standard and the Table: Weekend Table Comes to Aberfeldy Barn

September 15, 2026

We've hosted a lot of nights here since we built Aberfeldy Barn but Weekend Table at Aberfeldy is one of the most magical nights we've designed for our local community.

Weddings, corporate retreats, special birthday celebrations into the wee hours are our staples, but this spring, we're doing something we haven't done before, and we're super excited to share it with you.

We're bringing Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Weekend Table at Aberfeldy Barn, and we're the only venue in this year's entire programme serving a full six courses.

We didn't build the evening to be quick.

We built it to be savoured.

Chilled estate sparkling and artisan canapés greet you as the sun begins its descent over our paddocks, the kind of golden hour that quiets a room without anyone asking it to.

The barn is dressed for spring with soft locally designed florals by Evermore Events drifting through the venue alongside our signature magical fairy lights. Each of the six shared courses has been thoughtfully created by the team at The Catering People using local suppliers and finished with its own delicate floral element. These curated courses are then expertly paired with wine from Ballandean Estate, one of the Granite Belt's most decorated producers. As twilight settles, live music takes over, and the evening simply continues, unhurried, for as long as you want to stay in it.

Why this evening belongs at Aberfeldy Barn.

This is precisely the kind of night our barn was designed for. A short drive from Toowoomba, named after a village in Scotland because that's where we found our own "wee bit of paradise."

The barn itself is a custom designed and built event location, with a ceiling of fairy lights overhead, impressive custom built barn doors and 6 metre French sliding doors that draw in the rolling hills of Aberfeldy. Our barn is purposefully built to hold its own whether the occasion is a wedding, a boardroom escape, or six courses under an open sky.

Being the only six-course experience on this year's Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Weekend Table line-up is something we're very proud to bring to the Toowoomba Region. Cass and Tony have built the Aberfeldy Barn reputation on getting the details right and providing a seamless and magical experience, and this evening is that standard, set for our beautiful Toowoomba spring.
